Refunds and cancellations

Your statutory right to cancel

Where you buy as a consumer, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 give you 14 days from the date of purchase to cancel and receive a refund.

For digital content that right can be lost if the buyer expressly agrees to immediate access and acknowledges giving it up. We do not ask you to do that. You get immediate access to your course and you keep the full 14 days.

Business purchases

The Regulations above protect consumers rather than businesses, so a purchase made by a company does not attract the same statutory right. In practice we apply the same 14-day approach to business purchases as a matter of policy. If a course is not right for your team, tell us within 14 days and we will refund it.

How to request a refund

Email notifications@oaegis.org from the address on the account, telling us which course you bought. You do not need to give a reason.

Refunds go back to the original payment method. We process them within 14 days of accepting the request; how quickly the money appears after that is down to your bank or card issuer.

What happens to your access

Access to the refunded course ends when the refund is issued. Your account, and any other course you hold, is unaffected. Self-assessment drafts you have written stay in your account.

What we do not refund

We cannot refund fees paid to a customs authority, a certification body or any third party. Oaegis programmes are training: AEO, C-TPAT and equivalent status is granted only by the relevant customs authority following its own application and audit, and a course outcome is never guaranteed.
